Great process, Kevin! I liked your copy because it gives me the impression that nothing really went wrong, which is something that I think users would like to see after a scary situation like their phones suddenly crashing.

This indifference might be comforting to users because they can think "Oh, nothing really happened. I can just go back to what I was doing, great!"

I was also about to comment on your different messages but you already noted at the end whether it's even possible to write different messages for different scenarios.

I personally don't see it as a necessity, but given your experience, why do you think it might be needed to tell the user that the app closed because of something like networking issues?
