Divya, thank you for writing this. You encapsulated much of what I've been feeling this past year when I too decided to leave software engineering, a career that I dedicated three years of my early twenties pursuing.

I thought I was alone in feeling anxious when it came to coding and overwhelmed with work while being underpaid compared to my peers.

I too hope that one day we will both overcome our traumas and rekindle our love for logic, numbers, and technical problems again.
